So… when did my obsession with Taiho Shichauzo start? It was actually Akiko Hiramatsu’s fault (Miyuki’s seiyuu). For a time I had been quite crazy over the original Bubblegum Crisis (I hate both Crash and 2040… sorry), and while surfing the net I found out that Nene and Miyuki’s seiyuu were one and the same. Curiosity came over me, and after seeing all the wonderful reviews about TS I decided to give it a try by buying the OVA series. I’m pretty much hooked afterwards.

I guess another reason would be because I seem to have this attraction for anything made by Kosuke Fujishima, may he be the author or merely the character designer. I haven’t seen any other work he has done except for those listed above though - not even eX-Driver, although one of my friends is already willing to bet that I would most likely love that anime as well. (We’ll see… I’m not much for animes that evolve too much around cars)

Why is Miyuki my favorite character in the series? Well, as much as Natsumi is fun and all, Miyuki reminds me a lot of myself in terms of personality. And since she doesn’t like talking about herself, she has this mysterious aura around her that intrigues me. Plus, I find her to be incredibly funny when she’s in one of her scary moods, since they’re such a sharp contrast from her more dominant, subdued personality. She’s partly the reason why my head turns everytime I see a nice looking car, and why I began to love playing racing games (the rest of the blame goes to my friend, who taught me everything). Besides, I’m into computer programming, too. And it was because of Miyuki’s seiyuu why I got hooked into TS in the first place!
